The 4 July general election saw Sir Keir Starmer’s Labour sweep into power with a landslide result, resoundly defeating Rishi Sunak’s Conservatives. The result signalled the end of 14 years of Conservative government, and, whatever your political persuasion, it is clear that Labour intend to put some clear blue water between themselves and the previous government.
