Founder of Boiler Guide, David Holmes said: “We have seen huge growth in traffic to our website during 2020. During the lockdowns, homeowners have increased their online activity looking to make improvements around the home and this can be seen in the number of customers updating their heating. With people stuck indoors and without the option of holidays, it’s clear to see that many of us are investing more in our homes.”

The upward trend looks set to continue throughout 2021 with January 2021 enquiry figures up a further 48% compared to the same period last year.

David added: “The results speak for themselves and it is encouraging to see that heating engineers have the opportunity to grow their businesses in such difficult circumstances.”
