Over time, Bristan has developed an impressive portfolio of bathroom and kitchen products – inspired by customer needs, led by trends, backed up by engineering, and loved by installers.

As a result, Bristan continues to grow rapidly in comparison to its competitors, now holding one-fifth of the market share among plumbing merchants.

A customer-first approach

Despite its established reputation, Bristan is always striving to maintain its position in an ever-changing market. To keep up with evolving customer tastes, Bristan incorporates various practices into its new product development which ensures that its product offering is trend-driven, relevant to the market, and will satisfy the needs of installers and homeowners alike.

This process includes the consultation of Bristan’s customer insights team, holding regular focus groups and meetings with its On Tap Ambassadors – a team of installers who are passionate about all things plumbing and share insights on products and industry concerns. In addition to this, the team at Bristan regularly attends trade shows across the globe to understand how the market is evolving and conducts a series of polls and surveys to gain feedback from its customer base – all of which feeds into the development of new products.

After announcing the expansion of its kitchen tap offering at the beginning of this year, Bristan has now unveiled two new ranges for its bathroom product portfolio this Spring.

Introducing the Molida and Cruzar

The two new bathroom ranges, Molida and Cruzar, feature two new tap designs in a range of trend-led finishes. Currently, both ranges include a basin mixer, bath shower mixer, and bath filler, and will include matching showers which will be introduced to the market later this year.

As Bristan expands its trend-driven offering, these new ranges will provide installers with more choice for their customers – demonstrated through the unique knurling pattern on the handles of both ranges, Molida’s European-inspired design and Cruzar’s timeless, industrial feel.

The Molida range also has an additional perk for customers as its basin mixer features Bristan’s innovative Eco Start technology. This technology saves energy by ensuring cold water is set as the default central start position of the tap handle, meaning that hot water is only activated when the tap lever is moved from the central position and reduces unnecessary demand on hot water heating systems and energy usage.

The latest data from Bristan customers reveals that taps featuring the unique Eco Start technology can help households save approximately £80 on energy bills every year.

What’s more, both designs are available in a range of trend-led finishes, including matte black, brushed brass and Bristan’s signature hard-wearing chrome.

In addition to these finishes, there’s even more choice for installers as the ranges are available in two different handle designs with the new knurling pattern – lever and crosshead, both of which help to create the perfect industrial look.

Plus, as with many of Bristan’s products, the ranges come with long-life ceramic cartridges and Bristan’s 10-year guarantee – meaning installers can buy with confidence knowing these ranges have been built to last.

The go-to product choice for installers

Jonty Cook, Product Manager for Bathroom Taps at Bristan, says: “At Bristan, we’re committed to maintaining our reputation as the go-to product choice for installers. So, we’re excited to introduce the new Molida and Cruzar ranges to our product offering.

“We value the feedback and opinions of our installers, and this forms a key part of our new product development. With Molida and Cruzar, we’re delighted to have designed two ranges that offer installers a wider choice of well-priced products that will cater to evolving customer tastes.

“As with all of our products, these designs have been rigorously tested, are supported by our exceptional guarantees, award-winning customer service, and with a full suite of spares. Plus, there is more to come with our matching shower ranges coming to market later this year.”
