Now with the launch of the VLo line, Warmup have created suitable heating solutions for renovation projects where a low floor build-up is required. Fitting a hydronic system in a renovation project can be a complicated process, with site-specific factors and compromises frequently needing to be made, but the VLo line offers a hassle-free installation in projects of all sizes.
The VLo line is comprised of three different solutions, with each system built for a specific application. The VLo Ultra-12 Low Build System is for use with uninsulated floors, the VLo Nexxa-12 Castellated System for insulated floors, and the VLo Econna-12 Joisted Floor System is designed for use with joisted floors.
The robust and low weight VLo systems are designed to make installing underfloor heating an intuitive process and present a great option for mid-project specification, meaning these systems can be installed in projects already underway. The VLo line offers an excellent heat output with low water temperatures, and each system features a unique construction for optimal performance. With the ability to be used with traditional heat systems and heat pumps, the three systems will provide energy saving warmth and low long term running costs for the end-user, says Warmup.

At the heart of the VLo line is the VLo Ultra-12 Low Build System. The Ultra-12 is an upgrade of Warmup’s popular Total-16 Low-Profile System. It is a hydronic floor heating system for both off-plan projects and for retrofitting in home refurbishments, adding only 18mm to the floor height.
Offering a screedless installation, the VLo Ultra-12 features in-built insulation and an aluminium diffuser for even heat spread. The dedicated panels also feature decoupling attributes, making them suitable for use with tiled floors and the system uses Warmup’s new and improved 12mm PERT heating pipe.
The VLo line can be operated using one of Warmup’s smart underfloor heating controllers. The Konekt Wireless Controls provide automated, precision heat for the end-user and allow a low impact installation, with no requirement for the chasing out of walls for cabling. The advanced technology of the VLo line is also supported by Warmup’s digital tools and 24/7/365 technical assistance.
Warmup’s VLo line will be available for hands-on demonstrations at PHEX 2022. Appearing at PHEX Chelsea on 16-17 November, attendees are invited to meet the Warmup team and discover the many benefits of this new development in low-profile hydronic heating.
