The Vaillant Academy can be accessed both through the Vaillant Advance loyalty programme and directly through the main Vaillant website.
According to Vaillant, the new e-learning platform combines a wealth of online training courses, technical information, and valuable marketing tools, to help installers maximise their business.
Responding to installer feedback highlighting the need for training options that can fit around busy schedules, the blended learning approach allows installers to compete theory-based modules at home, meaning they only need to visit a Vaillant Centre of Excellence to complete practical training elements, where Vaillant’s team of trainers are on-hand to share their technical expertise.
All training certificates are available through the online portal.
Online marketing support will also be a key feature of the new Vaillant Academy, together with the very latest information on Vaillant products, and business support including practical ways to open up new revenue streams, and how to diversify into new technologies.
Over time, and based on the user’s interaction with the platform, the Vaillant Academy recognises topics of interest, such as decarbonisation or heating with hydrogen, to create a bespoke training programme and make recommendations for future learning.
Mark Wilkins, Technologies and Training Director at Vaillant, commented: “Training is the backbone of our industry, both in terms of making sure installers have the relevant product knowledge needed for the installs of today, but, in the longer term, it will also ensure installers are equipped to deliver the heating installs needed to achieve a low carbon future too.
“Yet, while installers recognise the importance of training, time is often tight, which can mean taking time out to attend training can prove difficult. We have always invested in training at Vaillant, and with the diversification into new technologies continuing to pick up pace, we know that staying ahead is more important than ever.
“The new Vaillant Academy has been created to offer more on-demand, blended learning and business support tools, so that training can be worked around their schedules as and when convenient, even when on the go.”
