The SolarisKit S400 is a flat pack solar collector that can be assembled in 30 minutes and converts sunlight efficiently into hot water to meet the needs of most homes and businesses. The collector is certified to Keymark (EN12975/ISO 9806) and compliant with European standards.

In most standard weather conditions, the device is capable of heating water to temperatures over 50^oC, suitable for normal showering/bathing and laundry requirements.

Sunlight enters the collector through its transparent side panels and strikes the black internal coil, which is then heated through solar radiation. Water is then circulated through the coil using a small pump. From there, the heated water is circulated around the coil in an insulated solar hot water cylinder, building up a temperature of over 50^oC. Top up can be provided through the night by either a programmable immersion heater or boiler.

The solar collectors prismatic geometry allows passive tracking of sunlight and can, on exceptional days, reach temperatures of over 65^oC.

Each floor standing collector has a footprint of 540x540mm on a square base, with a height of 454mm. They are delivered flat packed for easy transportation and are designed to be simple to assemble.

A typical system of six collectors along with a circulating pump, and a control panel, will heat a 150l solar cylinder. Eight collectors will heat a 200l solar cylinder.
