With durability, inclusivity and circularity at the forefront of its design, the Life collection has been developed with Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified fabrics and materials and features 12 hi-visibility, high performance garments, including a reversible puffer jacket, a stretch combat trouser, moisture wicking polo shirts, insulated parkas, and a breathable, class 4 waterproof shell jacket and over trouser - each available in yellow and orange, and conforming to EN ISO 20471 design requirements.

Working closely with branded textile suppliers and collaborating with globally recognised initiatives such as Textiles 2030, Pulsar aims to develop longer-lasting garments suitable for recycling at the end of their life cycle.

Taking a circular approach, each garment in the Life collection uses fully sustainable GRS-recycled polyester and nominated recycled linings, trims and Bluesign-approved treatments, with high wear garments certified for up to 50 washes, and all fabric and reflective tape tested to 25 washes.

The Pulsar Life collection incorporates several practical features into its designs, including patterned waterproof zippers, black contrast panels, durable utility loops on the softshell jacket and combat trousers, and reflective print details for increased visibility.

Debbie Huntley, Sustainability Manager at Pulsar, commented: “From the beginning of the development process, there have been two key focus areas with the Life collection - the wearer and our planet.

“Our latest range of hi-visibility garments features the practical, performance-lead design that PULSAR® is renowned for, and by working from a more circular viewpoint and investigating garment construction methods and the use of recycled and organic fibres, we’re able to support the developing needs of the environment and our customers with our most ambitious and responsible workwear range yet.”

Stuart Jukes, Managing Director at Pulsar, added: “The Pulsar brand has been built upon the foundation of quality, reliability and innovation and as climate change impacts the world around us, we’ve continued to transform our product offering and remain committed to reducing our footprint.

“Durability and responsible consumption have become synonymous with the Life collection throughout its development, and following a number of successful wearer trials, we’re excited to introduce a reliable, environmentally responsible workwear collection to our customers, with the full range of garments now available to order in an equal number of improved men’s and women’s fits.”
