The slim cassette is available in six capacities ranging from 1.5-5.6kW, and with the more powerful nano X Mark 3 integrated within, it is ideal for improving environments such as offices, veterinary clinics, restaurants, supermarkets, and more, the company says.

The new VRF Mini Cassette is Panasonic’s first indoor unit to integrate its upgraded nanoe X Mark 3 Generator, which is a maintenance-free addition to the unit. The nanoe X Generator Mark 3 produces 48 trillion hydroxyl radicals per second, 100x more than original nanoe.

Abundant in nature, hydroxyl radicals have the capacity to inhibit five types of pollutants, including certain viruses and bacteria, to clean and deodorise – studies have shown the nanoe X Generator can inhibit viruses by up to 98.81% in a large space of 139m³.

With a compact and stylish flat panel design, the VRF Mini Cassette blends well into any environment, says Panasonic. It requires a ceiling depth of 250mm, and the exposed panel height is just 30mm. For comfort, the VRF Mini Cassette has individual, customisable flap control with four motors, one for each flap. It ensures the perfect air distribution without direct airflow to reduce the feeling of cold draft. Additionally, the DC drain pump and float switch has been improved to reduce noise and increase efficiency.

Furthermore, the units have a variety of connectivity options to make user experience simple, straightforward, and intuitive. This includes a centralised intelligent controller, Panasonic’s CONEX, Panasonic’s AC Smart Cloud and AC Service Cloud, and VRF Smart Connectivity+.
