Relaunching following a two year delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the awards set out to celebrate the very best of UK construction.

The awards are being held on 18 November at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. Over £15,000 of prizes will be awarded to UK tradespeople on the evening.

To fully showcase the relaunch of the awards, On The Tools have announced a new website where tradespeople can nominate themselves or colleagues across a variety of categories. The new On The Tools website will be a one-stop shop for tradespeople to get the latest industry updates and insight, as well as the entertainment the community is so well known for.

Lee Wilcox, CEO of On The Tools, said: “Tradespeople are too often under-appreciated for their hard work and dedication. The On The Tools awards aims to give them the recognition they deserve. We’re especially excited to be able to relaunch after a very difficult pandemic, where tradespeople really were some of the unsung heroes.

"The stories from the construction industry during this time are important to share – there was no choice for many of them to stay home, they were out and getting their hands dirty and putting themselves at risk to keep things going. The awards tell those stories, and with the help of the brands sponsoring the categories we are able to reward tradespeople who went above and beyond.”

Nominations will open for the On The Tools awards from 2 August.
