Typically flues are sealed around their annular gap with cements and adhesives, which prevents the old flue from being removed easily. The most commonly adopted approach is to hit the flue pipe with a hammer and chisel, which can result in the brickwork or render moving.
Fluemate has a bespoke barrel acting as a guide pin which removes the old flue/adhesives, thus prevents the need to disrupt the asset owners' wall.
The product can be used with plumbers existing core bits from 117mm upwards, depending on the size of new hole required.
