Designed to save time and money on maintenance jobs, freezing pipes enables repairs to be carried out without draining down the system or switching off the mains.

Electric Freeze machines are designed for large scale contract and commercial plumbing jobs, such as hospitals, care homes, facilities maintenance, and social housing, where a continuous supply of pipe freeze is needed.

The new machines both feature aluminium freeze heads. The AH28 includes 8, 10, 15 and 22mm reducers, while the AH42 also has extra 28 and 35mm reducers. Also included are gloves, freeze cream, and an integral lay-flat carry handle. Both systems are compliant with EMC, RoHS, Reach and Machinery Directives.

Karl Dallimore, MD at Arctic Hayes, said: “The new family of Arctic Electric Pipe Freeze machines feature lighter weight chassis, lower voltage compressors, and leaner component production methods. This allows costs to be significantly reduced, and these savings will be passed through to the supply chain, giving a superior product at a much reduced list price compared to old models.”
