All Navigator Pressfit products are “M-type” and fully compatible when used with standard M-type tools.
The new BS EN 1254-7 standard incorporates far more rigorous testing procedures, including a standardised high temperature test, greater pull out resistance, updated requirements for seals, comprehensive requirements for threads, and additional leak tightness for completed assemblies. Kitemark products are audited and tested by BSI at least once a year, as is the production and quality process at the factory.
Suitable for chilled water and heating systems, MB Pressfit is also approved for potable water use by WRAS, and incorporates black polymeric seals manufactured to BS 6920-1:2000.
Navigator’s Salvus range is designed for use with gas and is easily indentifiable. It has a special high-temperature yellow polymer seal conforming to DIN EN 549:2019.
