The system, which is Navien's first monobloc air source heat pump, joins the company's award-winning range of heating and hot water appliances, such as its 20%-hydrogen-ready NCB ON range of combi crossover boilers, its selection of hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) ready oil-powered boilers, its NPE water heater, and tis brand-new H2 100% Hydrogen boiler.
Navien’s heat pump uses an eco-friendly Hydrocarbon propane refrigerant with a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of three, to offer a future-proofed system capable of delivering hot water comfort and higher flow temperatures of 75°C.
The heat pump also has two output options of 8kW or 14kW, and boasts an A+++ ErP rating, making it one of the most energy-efficient products to join the market.
To ensure noise is kept at a minimum, the product has been optimised to minimise vibration. It features a suspended chassis and soundproofing materials to absorb and block out noise from compressor operation. This produces noise pollution of less than 43dB (A) from just one metre away – no louder than the average household refrigerator.
Providing homeowners with ease and comfort, Navien’s heat pump can be used alongside the company's range of boilers, such as the NCB700 ON Combi Crossover boiler, to create a hybrid system that ensures the boiler is used to top up low temperatures to meet the demands of the property, particularly in the colder months when the heat pump cannot do this alone.
