Heat pump manufacturer NIBE has announced that it will be providing the BPEC domestic ventilation installer course from its Chesterfield training facility.

The BPEC domestic ventilation course has been specifically designed to provide plumbers, heating engineers and ventilation engineers with the knowledge and skills to correctly install and commission domestic ventilation systems.

"Our latest course is a welcome addition and will support our network of VIP installers to fully understand how domestic ventilation systems work and how they are installed," said Robin Adderley, Sales Director at NIBE UK.

"2018 saw the launch of the NIBE ERS Heat Recovery Ventilation Systems which are an excellent complement to our market leading heat pump product range and which enables us to offer a complete package. This BPEC course will therefore, further enhance the knowledge of attendees to create the perfect indoor climate for their customers."

The course has been structured to meet the requirements of the Approved Document Part F of the Building Regulations 2010 and is recognised as a demonstration of competence for Competent Person Schemes (CPS).

The two day course covers domestic ventilation in context, airflow requirements and calculations, health and safety and installation, inspection, testing commissioning and provision of information.

Course dates for 2019 are 26-27 March, 28-29 May, 30-31 July, 24-25 September, and 26-27 November. All courses are held at NIBE's Chesterfield training centre.
