As the world embraces the green energy transition, optimising energy consumption and embracing energy efficient solutions become imperative. HVAC and water systems in buildings currently consume a staggering 40% of the world's energy. Therefore, unlocking the potential of energy efficient buildings becomes the key to success.

To achieve this ambitious goal, there is a need to reimagine and optimise the design, installation, and operation of HVAC and water systems. By doing so, a massive 53.5TWh could potentially be saved by the year 2030. However, relying solely on existing solutions won't suffice. It is time to think bigger, move faster, and revolutionise the way we approach HVAC and water systems.

Grundfos, with its wealth of expertise and innovative solutions, firmly believes that collaboration is essential. Grundfos has invited valued customers to join forces and collaborate in order to innovate and develop new skills, technologies, tools, and ways of working that will help achieve the shared goal of saving 53.5TWh.

“We will gather the finest installers and engineers across Europe. Those working with HVAC and water systems daily – the individuals who will implement the solutions created through collaboration,” said Bent Jensen, Divisional CEO of Commercial Building Services at Grundfos.

The first step will be the Grundfos Truck Tour that hits the roads of Europe from August to October 2023. Packed within the cutting-edge truck, this unique traveling experience will showcase the latest technology, software, and tools in HVAC and water innovations. Visiting major cities in the UK, France, Poland, the Nordic region, Benelux and DACH, the truck will offer a glimpse into the future of energy efficiency and those participating will undertaken a hackathon to visualise the future.

Culminating the tour, Grundfos will host an innovation hack at its headquarters in Bjerringbro. This event will bring together development specialists, esteemed customers, and partners to explore endless possibilities and seize opportunities. As efforts unite, the industry is poised to discover the next groundbreaking energy efficient breakthroughs in HVAC and water systems.

Industry professionals are invited to become part of the energy revolution by joining the Explore NEXT movement. Discover the campaign elements, videos, and more by visiting www.grundfos.com/uk/campaign/explorenext/innovation-hack. Together, the industry can unlock new energy possibilities, optimise buildings' HVAC and water systems, and spearhead the green energy transition.
