An inquiry into the running of home energy efficiency schemes is to be held following the end of two key policies – Zero Carbon Homes and the Green Deal.
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is also due to come to an end in March 2017, and no replacement schemes are set to be introduced.
The Energy & Climate Chnage Committee will be investigating what lessons can be learnt from these and previous energy efficiency schemes. The evidence received will feed into the scrutiny of energy efficiency policies over the course of this Parliament.
The committee invites responses addressing some, or all, of the following questions in no more than 3000 words:
The committee may seek responses to further questions as the Department of Energy & Climate Change’s policy in this area evolves.
