GROHE has received four awards at the 2018 German Design Awards in the categories Building and Elements, Fair and Exhibition and Corporate Identity.
The German Design Awards honour innovative products and projects as well as the manufacturers and designers that are ground-breaking in the German and international design landscape. The panel consists of 45 experts from different nations and judges more than 5,000 entries.
With Sense and Sense Guard, GROHE wins two 2018 German Design Awards in the category Building and Elements. The water security system provides a solution to the worrying and costly problem of water damage that faces many homeowners.
GROHE was also awarded in the Fair and Exhibition category for its presence this year at ISH in Frankfurt am Main, a trade fair for bathroom, construction, energy and air conditioning technologies as well as renewable energy. The panel awarded GROHE the prize in light of its expressive brand image and creative booth design concept.
Finally, GROHE picked up its fourth award in the Corporate Identity category for its publication series GROHE Architekturlösungen, a supplement in German construction magazine, the Deutsche BauZeitschrift. Each edition featured special construction projects and the GROHE products installed within them, alongside a Q&A excerpt around the project’s architecture. The publication is aimed primarily at architects, project planners and experts in the sanitaryware industry.
