Latest products

If you’re coming to PHEX, there’s a good chance you’re there to learn about all the newest products and technology to hit the market. Luckily for you, this year’s show is packed full of all the latest and greatest products out there. Here is a selection of just a few of the new products that will be on display at the show.

Intergas will be showcasing its new boilers, the Xtreme and the Xclusive, at PHEX Chelsea. New features include a full touch screen display panel, expansion vessel incorporated within the boiler, combined PRV, and condensate connection and integral filling loop. Both can be used with the Intergas Comfort Touch app, allowing the homeowner to control their heating while on the go. The Xclusive has a built-in passive flue gas heat recovery system, increasing the boiler’s energy efficiency still further.

Armstrong Fluid Technology is exhibiting its newly launched range of new circulator and condensate pumps suitable for domestic and light commercial applications at PHEX Chelsea. The new Armstrong circulators range include high-efficiency circulators for heating systems and drinking water, as well as specialist circulators for solar installations, and a broad range of condensate pumps for gas and oil-fired condensing boilers.

Measuring instrument manufacturer Testo will have its new Testo 300 Flue Gas Analyser on display at Stamford Bridge. The device features a 5” smart-touch display, allowing for intuitive operation – just like a smartphone. In addition, measurement reports containing all information on measurement values, customer address, and site details can be created directly on-site with the Testo 300.

Carrara & Matta will be profiling its new Push n’Clean toilet seat range at PHEX. Push n’Clean range is a new innovation which allows simple attachment and detachment of the seat to pan, ensuring a more hygienic cleaning procedure. The Push n’Clean Silence features additional benefits including reduced flushing noise, while still improving flushing power due to the vacuum the lid creates when closed.

The new TF1 Sigma Filter from Fernox will also be making an entrance at PHEX Chelsea. Responding to extensive market research and customer feedback, the TF1 Sigma Filter has been developed as a sealed unit with no removable lid, so it has been designed to be watertight, easy to clean, and service.

Available in both 22mm and 28mm versions, PHEX Chelsea will be your opportunity to learn more about the product before its merchant release in January 2019.

Engaging seminars

If you want to expand your knowledge, why not come along to one of the seminars being held at PHEX Chelsea this year?

During Quality Plumber Week, the Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors (APHC) discussed whether the industry should introduce a single mandatory license as a requirement to operate a plumbing and heating business. At PHEX Chelsea, the APHC will be covering the feedback it received over the course of the debate and talk about what the next steps should be, if the industry plans on taking the idea forward. So, don’t miss out on a stimulating session which is sure to raise some big questions about the sector.

The Gas Safe Register will once again be giving its popular presentation, covering all the technical updates you need to know as a practising Gas Safe-registered engineer. These sessions are well attended, so make sure to arrive early in order to secure a seat.

Seminar times are subject to change so please stay tuned to www.phexshow.co.uk to keep up to date.
