The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) has announced the launch of its latest publication, the Safe Water Guide: Scald Prevention and Legionella.
Developed to provide guidance to those responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of plumbing systems, the guide covers the requirements necessary for providing ’safe water’ by minimising Legionella, preventing scalding and understanding the associated duty of care.

The guide has been published by the Institute’s Safe Water Group and produced by Tony Malkin, Stan Tildsley and Jim Walley, with additional information from David Harper.
