Tradespeople can take part by signing up for a free Armd account so they can start logging their tools. They will get an ARMD sticker in the post and if they display the ARMD sticker on their van and share a picture of it in situ on social media, tagging two friends and including the #StickOneUpToToolTheft, #ProtectYourTools and #getArmd hashtags, they get £20 store credit to spend on tools.

“So far the campaign has been picked up by some of the trade’s key social influencers and is really catching fire,” says Stephen Holland, co-founder of ARMD. “Who doesn’t love a sticker and a money off the latest power tools? But the serious message behind the campaign is to raise awareness around the devastating effect tool theft can have on the livelihoods of trades up and down the country. ARMD exists to help the trade better protect themselves.”

“If the worst does happen, we can get you back to work almost immediately with fast, self-service digital claims. A recent ARMD user who was a victim of tool theft was back on the tools within three days of the claim being made. Normally that can take anything up to five weeks – we have transformed the process to the trades’ advantage.”
