Worcester’s Apprentice of the Year competition has entered its third round and apprentices are being invited to showcase their work.

Until 1 January 2018, apprentices who upload an image of their best work from the past 12 months will be entered into the manufacturer’s search for the country’s top apprentice.

The competition will see apprentices set a new challenge each month, with points on offer for every entry. In addition to being named Worcester’s Apprentice of the Year, those who enter stand a chance of winning a variety of prizes, including Bosch Professional power tools.

Martyn Bridges, Director of Technical Communication and Product Management at Worcester, said: “Now is an important time for the heating industry, with the next generation of talent needed to secure its longstanding reputation for excellence.

“The Apprentice of the Year competition is designed to encourage those entering the trade to take the same level of pride in their work as other qualified installers across the country. We hope as many heating engineers as possible will get involved.”

To enter the Apprentice of the Year competition, images can be posted using the hashtag #WeAreWorcester on social media, or uploaded to the Worcester website.
