Viega has launched a new RIBA-approved CPD presentation on designing pre-wall bathroom systems.

Based around steel or timber frames, pre-wall systems can be adapted to almost any room design, regardless of wall height, shape and room layout. When used in bathrooms, they allow designers to conceal cisterns, pipework and drainage, enabling them to create the clean and modern look demanded by homeowners and commercial, says Viega.

The hour-long presentation explores the approach to designing, specifying, constructing and operating a modern bathroom and washroom. The CPD, which is presented by a member of Viega’s technical sales team, starts by providing an introduction to pre-wall systems and an overview of the legislative and regulatory landscape.

It then gives a detailed overview of different elements relating to designing bathrooms with pre-wall systems. This covers the look and feel of a bathroom as well as its functionality. Other elements, such as environmental considerations, installation and cleaning and maintenance, are also covered.

Scott James, Director of Viega, said: “With Viega offering a great range of pre-wall systems including Eco Plus, Steptec, Mono, concealed flushing technology and flush plates, we are perfectly positioned to provide a CPD on this subject.

“With a wide range of topic areas, the presentation provides essential knowledge for anyone managing an existing washroom, planning a refurbishment or designing a new build.”
