Pimlico Plumbers is teaming up with Secret Hampers to encourage Londoners to show their holiday spirit this Christmas.

The two business have joined forces to create a Winter Warmer Hamper to help individuals and businesses channel the yuletide spirit and keep family, friends, charities and business associates warm and fed during the festive period.

The hamper, which can be delivered anonymously, features a mixture of edible festive favourites, including Quality Street and Christmas Puddings, alongside a boiler service voucher worth £120.

With the cold Christmas period arguably the worst time for unexpected expenses and heating malfunctions, the hamper, available from secrethamper.com and costing £170, makes a great gift for an elderly neighbour, friend or family relative.

Those wishing to make a charitable contribution can donate the hamper to Secret Hampers and Pimlico’s selected charity, Age UK. The hampers can be delivered to any mainland postcode, or any Age UK location within the M25 corridor.

Charlie Mullins, CEO and founder of Pimlico Plumbers, said: “This is a great way for businesses to spread a little joy this Christmas with an act of kindness that will not only warm the heart of those who receive the hamper, but help them keep their home warm too! An un-serviced boiler is prone to failure, which is the last thing an elderly person needs during winter.”

Nigel Richardson, founder of Secret Hampers, said: “Secret Hampers helps share random acts of kindness because people often like to help others out, but without revealing they are the benefactor. We’re delighted to have the backing of Pimlico Plumbers for this initiative, which offers businesses and individuals a unique way to spread some festive cheer this Christmas.”
