The Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors (APHC) and British Plumbing Employers Council (BPEC) have entered into a formal partnership agreement with the aim of developing qualifications, courses, learning materials to raise skills and standards across the industry.

John Thompson, Chief Executive of APHC, said: “I’m delighted that APHC has entered into this agreement as we recognise BPEC as a quality Awarding Organisation and Certification Body for the plumbing and heating industry. I’m looking forward to working closely with Paul and his team in the development and implementation of plumbing and heating qualifications, courses and assessments.”

Paul Johnson, Chief Executive of BPEC, said: “APHC is the leading plumbing and heating association for England and Wales, I know that together both organisations can make a significant contribution in raising industry standards through the development of qualifications, learning materials, the new Plumbing and Heating Trailblazer Apprenticeship as well as encouraging engineers once they have successfully completed their qualifications and apprenticeships to continue improving their skills throughout their career.”
