Altecnic will be showcasing two brand new additions to its range, as well as a pressure reducing valve, at PHEX Chelsea in November.

Taking centre-stage at PHEX will be the new patent-pending RoboShock easy-to-fit compression shock arrester.

The KIWA-approved shock arrester helps protect appliances against water hammer and offers the installer a wider range of installation options than was previously available. Also, RoboShock features a 15mm compression connection, which minimises installation times and cuts costs by eliminating the need for an additional threaded fitting.

Also on show will be the RoboKit Compact expansion vessel which has a compact, low profile design that makes it ideal for installing into kitchen units or airing cupboards where space is at a premium.

Available in 8l, 12l and 18l models, the RoboKit Compact is the perfect expansion vessel for sealed systems. The new unit is supplied with a WRAS-approved (G24 building regulations compliant) filling loop, 0-4bar pressure gauge and 3bar WRAS-approved safety relief valve. The vessel also has a built-in bracket which, combined with the Altecnic Quattro manifold, makes multi-directional installation easy.

Celebrating 30 years of successful trading throughout the UK and southern Ireland, Altecnic will also be showing its 535H series of pressure reducing valves (PRVs). Designed to cover domestic, semi-commercial and commercial applications ranging from 15mm to DN300, Altecnic's PRVs meet the very latest European standard and UK water supply requirements.

The EN 1567 approved 535H series is designed specifically for high temperature or cold applications up to 80C in semi-commercial or public buildings where the PRV equalises the supply to prevent excessive pressure at water outlets, including taps, basins, toilets, dishwashers and other appliances.
