The Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) has launched a series of practical Health and Safety Focus Forums, in partnership with the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA).
All four sessions will include key technical updates on core health and safety issues such as the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and imminent changes to sentencing guidelines, and a presentation by keynote speaker James Vernon of law firm Beale and Company.
Tim Rook, BESA technical director, said: “Adherence to best health and safety practice is crucial to all reputable businesses – and represents a key element in the independent competence assessment regime with which all existing and aspiring BESA members must comply. By partnering with the ECA in this important enterprise, the BESA is able to make a valuable contribution to the raising of health and safety standards across building engineering services and the wider construction industry.”
Attendance at all Health and Safety Focus Forums is free to members of the BESA and ECA. The non-members delegate fee is £150.00 (plus VAT) per event.
The four events will run in four key locations, as follows:
Newport, Gwent, on Thursday 11 February 2016
Stratford City, London E20, on Thursday 25 February 2016
Rugby, Warwickshire, on Thursday 14 April 2016
