Members of the BEAMA Electric Hot Water Group are holding an industry round table event to help with compliance on the ecodesign and energy labelling requirements for water heaters.

The round table is intended to help make sure that the new European ErP regulations for water heaters and hot water storage tanks, which came into force last September, are implemented correctly and that all members of the supply chain are meeting their legal requirements.

However, experience shows that some aspects of these regulations can appear confusing and it may seem difficult to correctly implement them. The round table will also serve to share information and provide expert advice so that the whole industry understands what is required and can discuss any grey areas now that implementation and market surveillance is underway.

The event is open to any company or organisation,; you don’t need to be a member of BEAMA or HWA and there will be no obligation to become one. This informal event will take place at BEAMA offices in London on 16 February at 2pm. For more information, contact charlie.may@beama.org.uk.
