Hitachi Power Tools is giving away a rugged DAB site radio with Bluetooth functionality to two HVP readers.

The UR18DSDL DAB site radio with Bluetooth is designed to give tradespeople high quality sound while out on site. The radio can be powered by any Hitachi 18v Li-ion slide in battery, from 1.5Ah all the way to 5Ah.

The radio comes equipped with a DAB receiver for superior sound quality and low noise, while the built-in Bluetooth wireless technology enables users to link their own Bluetooth-compatible devices with the unit and listen to their own playlists. Other features include a USB socket to charge your device, a storage case to hold most smartphones and, for those quieter moments, an auxiliary input connects to a 3.5mm headphone socket.

The radio is IPX4 water resistant, features a folding rubber antenna and has a resin and rubber frame for extra protection.

Featuring Hitachi Power Tools’ three-year warranty subject to terms and conditions, the radio can provide up to 19 hours of operation from a single 5.0Ah battery and comes complete with an AC adapter.
