Installation companies throughout the UK can benefit from a new renewable energy training voucher scheme offering up to £500 worth of training for each installer at a company, up to £5,000.
The scheme, which is operated and managed by renewable energy training provider PPL Training, is in partnership with NICEIC, BPEC Charity, Easy MCS, Energy Review, and Little Magic Box.
Launched at Ecobuild on 3 March, the scheme allows installers the chance to become fully qualified in a wide range of renewable energy technologies including; solar PV, solar thermal, biomass, heat pumps and solar thermodynamics. The scheme also offers them the opportunity to train as Energy Assessors and Green Deal Advisors.
The vouchers can be claimed through a quick and simple online registration form. This will provide applicants with vouchers, valid for 12 months, which can be used at over 11 UK wide training locations. The scheme also provides discounted NICEIC MCS accreditation services, and Easy MCS membership.
