Jarden Consumer Solutions has recalled specific models of its Bionaire range of oil filled heaters, as they have been found to potentially spray heated oil, causing a scald hazard.
Name of Product: Bionaire Oil Filled Heaters Models BOH1503 and BOH2503D
Hazard: The oil filled heaters can spray heated oil, posing a scald hazard.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled heater, unplug it and contact Jarden Consumer Solutions for instructions on how to obtain a full refund.

Recall Details: This recall involves Bionaire oil-filled heaters sold in Black and White. The heaters included in the recall are about 60cm tall, 20cm wide, 40cm long and have model number BOH1503 or BOH2503D printed on a label on the side near the bottom of the product.
The "Bionaire" logo is near the power switch and temperature control. The only products affected have a date code on the heater plug blade within the following range: G166 through G296 (note: some products may just have a number, with no "G"). No other date codes are affected.
Sold: From August 2014 to November 2014 for approximately £54.99 to £94.99.
