A day long Climate Change Tweetathon will take place on Tuesday 25 November, run by the Department for Energy & Climate Change with input from a range of businesses and organisations, including the UN, Microsoft and The Wildlife Trusts.

“The planet’s changing climate is starting to impact us all, but the many ways it will affect each of our lives is not always obvious,” said a DECC spokesperson. “So, for a whole day, we'll be talking about climate change and how it impacts everything from your morning cup of coffee to the cities and homes we live in.”

The Met Office will be acting as advisors throughout the event, answering questions on the science of climate change.
