Triton’s inclusive showering range has been developed to help maintain independent living in the home without compromising on the aesthetics of the bathroom. No longer confined to hospitals and care homes, inclusive showering products are becoming an increasingly popular choice in domestic properties thanks to a line-up of innovative features and safety accreditations suitable for all family members.

Triton’s inclusive range of thermostatic showers comprises 3 electric and 6 mixer models, led by Triton’s new electric care shower the Safeguard+ and the Elina TMV3 mixer shower.

Electric shower: Safeguard+

Triton’s latest inclusive showering model, the Safeguard+ electric shower includes thermostatic temperature control and has been designed with a team of Occupational Therapists, giving extra assurance to the user. Featuring a classic design of a sleek white gloss unit with contrasting cool grey controls, the Safeguard+ is suitable as a replacement unit within many existing bathroom styles.

To ensure a comfortable showering experience whether standing or seated, the standard Safeguard+ shower includes a slender, polished stainless steel riser rail with an extra long hose. For added peace of mind, an alternative Safeguard+ grab riser rail package is available which provides a load bearing riser rail capable of supporting up to 150kg if intentionally or accidently grabbed.

Mixer shower: Elina TMV 3

For a functional yet luxurious shower option, Triton’s Elina TMV3 mixer shower offers a safe showering option without compromising on the bathroom aesthetics. The combination of thermostatic temperature control and a maximum temperature restriction that can be set to individual needs provides optimum safety, whilst the shower also boasts separate flow and temperature controls for ease of use.

Easy to install

In keeping with Triton’s ethos for easy to install products, the inclusive electric showering models include generous clearance for connections as well as multiple pipe and cable entry points. Existing pipes and cable routes can be fully utilised, minimising disruption during installation and further enhancing the overall look of the bathroom whilst unit footprints can help to conceal any existing fixing holes or exposed plaster from a previous installation.

The Elina collection of mixer showers meanwhile is designed for easy installation and maintenance and is suitable for use with all water pressure systems.

In support of its collection of inclusive showers, Triton’s 15 page brochure gives installers and specifiers alike the opportunity to assess the features and benefits of each product within the range. The useful resource includes useful product charts which allow installers to cross reference plumbing suitability, guarantees, accreditations and additional benefits of each shower, making it even easier to choose and install the correct shower.

Steve Saunders, Senior Technical Manager at Triton said: “As more homeowners seek a bathroom that will meet the needs of their family both now and in the future, demand for inclusive showering products has grown. At Triton we understand that some people may require a little help in the shower for a number of reasons and still desire a stylish option.”

“Whether for a simple shower replacement or newly adapted bathroom, installers can confidently recommend one of the inclusive showering products from Triton thanks to the innovative features, safety accreditations and choice of stylish yet functional models available.”
