Despite economic recovery, pay levels still haven't returned to pre-recession levels for almost a fifth of senior management in the construction sector.
According to a survey by Close Brothers Business Barometer, 42% of senior management in construction firms across the UK were forced to take a pay cut during the recession, with over half of that number seeing their salary scaled back by between 5-10%.
