Rural Energy has seen a major sales rise after winning 'Installer of the Year' in the British Renewable Energy Awards.

The UK biomass technology expert was nominated for the award after delivering projects with the NHS, National Trust and Ministry of Defence. According to Rural Energy's managing director Paul Clark, the firm has seen an increase in enquiries and sales after recieving the award in June.

Mr Clark said: "It is fantastic that the work of Rural Energy has been recognised by the renewable energy sector. This award is a great testament to the hard work, dedication and expertise of our team and its superb record of delivery.

“Rural Energy continues to go from strength to strength as more and more organisations recognise the many benefits of modern biomass technology.

“Businesses and organisations are recognising the importance of biomass technology as a highly effective way of reducing energy bills and cutting carbon emissions. The Government’s Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and the financial benefits that this can bring, makes the biomass proposition even more attractive.”

“We are winning a growing number of contracts in the farming, agriculture, healthcare and education sectors, which are key areas for us.”
