Scottish builders are being invited to meet the McLaughlin & Harvey team at New Drumossie Hotel in Inverness tomorrow, to learn about winning work on local projects worth millions of pounds.

Hosted by Constructionline, the free event aims to help contractors find out about opportunities on McLaughlin & Harvey’s works programme in Scotland. Current projects include the construction of new quays at Invergordon Service Base and Nigg South Quay Development, and a £9.3 million contract for flood defence on the river Ness.

Those registering will have an opportunity to meet directors and key individuals on the frameworks.

“It is great to see McLaughlin & Harvey reaching out to local businesses as it embarks on some significant contracts in the north of Scotland,” said Stephanie Lawrie, business development manager at Constructionline. “In addition to helping small firms gain access to work in their area, these events make it easier for organisations to source a reliable and quality supply chain.”

Registration for the event is advised to avoid disappointment. For more information, visit www.constructionline.co.uk/events.
