Mitsubishi Electric is holding free seminars to highlight the integral role heat pump technology has to play in the commercial and residential heating sectors.

“The recent announcement on the Renewable Heat Incentive will help to increase demand for straightforward alternatives to traditional heating, and this is where heat pumps can really make a difference,” suggested Graham Temple, marketing communications manager.

“Not only are these highly efficient systems easier to install, maintain and operate than many other renewable systems, but they can also significantly reduce running costs for both hard-pressed businesses and households, while significantly lowering emissions.”

Mitsubishi Electric will be holding two separate events each month starting on 11 and 12 December until early next year. The first day will cover the residential sector, looking at solutions for both home and community heating schemes, while the second day will cover the commercial sector and examine systems that are designed to replace or work alongside existing heating.

The seminars will be held at the company’s Hatfield headquarters, and start at 9:00am with a lunchtime finish. Visitors will also be able to visit the Ecodan display van and the company’s extensive showrooms, to see the range of different heating solutions available.

“These seminars are ideal for anyone who wants to know more about the technology and will include guest speakers who will talk about their own personal experiences of heat pumps,” added Temple.
