JTL have become the first training provider to join APHC's new Training Provider membership category.

Launched earlier this year, the Training Provider membership category aims to develop closer links between employers and training providers, to ensure training providers have an input into industry consultative issues and their views form part of consultations on industry technical, education and training matters.

Graeme Dryden, technical services manager, APHC Ltd. said: “Welcoming JTL into membership is a major step forward in bringing together professional employers with a network of professional training assessors. As a leading training organisation JTL have a solid understanding of what both employers and learners need to be successful. They also understand the needs and challenges faced by training providers through their successful relationships with other organisations. We welcome their input and look forward to working more closely with them in the coming months.”

Denis Hird, chief executive officer, JTL added: “We are pleased to be the first APHC training provider member. We have long-admired the work of APHC and are delighted that this new initiative will bring us closer together.”
