Gallagher Heath has announced a new five-year agreement with the Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors to manage all commercial insurance facilities for new and existing APHC members.

Gallagher Heath sales director David Birch said: “We are delighted to have extended our partnership with the APHC, the industry’s leading trade body. We insure a large proportion of members and we see great renewal loyalty year-on-year.

"Building on strong existing foundations the new agreement has allowed us to develop a new insurance proposition exclusively for APHC members. We are partnering with a new insurer, strengthening the price position and bolstering cover with a new PI benefit for design and install.”

Heath added that the company has enjoyed great support and loyalty from APHC members and is pleased that the new deal has provided the opportunity to further enhance its offering.

APHC chief executive officer John Thompson added: “While we have worked in partnership with Gallagher Heath for more than 25 years we chose to conduct a formal and thorough market review to ensure that we continue to offer the best advice and cover to our members. I’m pleased that this process confirmed Gallagher Heath as our preferred partner and we have been able to further strengthen our exclusive offering to members.”

- Employers’ Liability
