PHEX South is a key event in the calendar for any plumber or heating engineer looking to build their knowledge base.
Visitors to PHEX have come to expect a top line-up of exhibitors, however, in addition to that, this year will see the biggest content programme we’ve ever put on at a PHEX event to date.
Thoughts from and discussions between some of the industry’s key players and thinkers will be heard at our new main theatre. These individuals and organisations will be on hand to impart knowledge on a range of topics, including how to navigate the transition from gas to heat pumps, and how mental and physical well-being go hand-in-hand with building success.

In addition, this year sees the introduction of our new Product Showcase theatre. Working with our exhibitor partners, sessions taking place here will provide a ‘deep-dive’ into some of the latest products and technologies hitting the sector now.
Experienced professionals will be on hand to answer your technical queries about products to help you understand how they can help you save time, money, and really deliver for your customers.
Networking opportunities
A new, larger venue will give visitors even more chances to network over the course of the two-day event.
We will have more exhibitors than ever, so you will be able to discover and meet with a wealth of potential new suppliers (as well as existing favourites) to discuss the latest and greatest products available on the market ahead of yet another busy heating season.
We have also increased and improved the number of seating and catering options available at the event, so there are plenty of opportunities to meet with old friends and make new ones while taking a quick break from the day’s activities.
This year we are also introducing the HVP Social Hub, an ideal location for attendees to gather, relax, grab a drink, and take part in discussions about what’s on at the show.

We are constantly working with exhibitors to ensure you get the most out of your time off the tools, and this year our partners are aiming to provide more giveaways than ever. For example, visitors to the Loctite stand that attend live demonstrations of its Loctite 55 and 577 thread sealing solutions will also take home a 50m sample of Loctite 55, perfect for sealing metal and plastic pipes and fittings.

Gas Safety Week 2024
Gas Safety Week 2024 (GSW) this year (9-15 September) coincides with PHEX South. Coordinated by Gas Safe Register, the week shines a spotlight on the industry, consumer organisations, and individuals, all championing gas safety.
The theme for 2024 is ‘Checking – Every Check Counts’, which aims to emphasise the importance of, among other things, regular gas safety checks. The theme highlights the significance of checking all appliances, encouraging people to prioritise gas safety in their homes.
