PHEX Tottenham 2020 will be postponed as a result of the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

The exhibition was due to take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on 17-18 June, but the decision has been taken to postpone the event in light of government advice concerning coronavirus.

Mark Edginton, PHEX Event Director, said: "It is with a heavy heart that Hemming Group is postponing the PHEX Tottenham event 2020.

"It remains inconclusive as to when, or for how long the government might place restrictions on mass gatherings in the UK, and with London declared as the epicentre of the virus in the UK, the PHEX team has taken the difficult decision to postpone this event.

"We are keenly aware that this developing situation is putting immense pressure on not only the events industry, but the heating and plumbing supply chain as a whole. We value our position at the heart of both and will always make decisions with you all front of mind.

"The safety of our exhibitors, visitors, sponsors, suppliers, and in-house team of course takes precedence in the bigger picture.

"We plan to release more information about the next steps for PHEX Tottenham as soon as possible."
