REHAU has announced a series of new district heating workshops to be held around the UK and Ireland in 2017.

The first event, building on the success of its events last year, will take place at the Building Centre in London on 23 March, with further workshops to be held in Birmingham, Edinburgh and Dublin later in the year.

The events are free to attend and are suitable for consultants, contractors, local authorities, developers and housing associations. Attendees will hear presentations from a line-up of industry experts on topics including design and performance, funding and legal, and CIBSE compliance. Delegates will then have the opportunity for a more in-depth view on each topic at late-morning breakout sessions.

Each workshop will also feature a talk from a local case study, so delegates can understand how district heating works in practice, not just theory.

Steve Richmond, head of marketing and technical for Rehau's Building Solutions division, said: "We had some great feedback from our 2016 District Heating workshops, so it was something we were keen to offer again in 2017. There are lots of people out there that want to know about district heating, and our workshops offer them expert advice and information all in one day.

"We've refreshed the delivery of the workshops a little from last year, breaking content down into smaller segments, and adding in new breakout workshops so delegates can get more involved in the discussions."

Due to the popularity of these events, it is advisable to book early to avoid disappointment.
