Are your boiler installs the best in the business? Are your clients in awe of your amazing pipework? HVP is celebrating best practice across the industry with the help of expert plumber James Lawrence, AKA Plumberparts.
HVP is delighted to announce that we’ve teamed up with Plumberparts’ James Lawrence for a new initiative aimed at showcasing examples of best practice from across the industry.
We are inviting tradespeople to submit examples of their best work – anything from a new bathroom suite, to a new boiler, or even an impressive filter installation.
Each issue, James will crown a winner and share his expert insight on why the install featured is deserving of being one of his Top Installs.
Best of all, if your install is picked as our winner, you will receive a fantastic new outfit from Snickers Workwear (shown below) which includes a polo shirt, floorlayer’s trousers, kneepads, Solid Gear Evolution shoes, and even a fleece jacket embroidered with your company’s logo.
Entry process
Firstly, all you need to do is pick a project you’re proud to show off.
The next step is to then find (or take) a minimum of two to three high resolution images of the install – as long as it is a photo taken with a relatively modern smartphone, you should be okay.
We also need you to write a short summary (no more than 200 words) about why you think your install deserves to be crowned as a Top Install.

Terms & conditions
One winner will receive a set of workwear from Snickers. The prize is as stated and no alternative, substitute or upgrade will be given.
The competition is open to registered UK readers of HVP over 18 years of age, except employees of Snickers and the Hemming Group. No purchase necessary.
Only one entry per reader. The decision on a winner is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
If you are selected as a winner, you will be required to make yourself available to take part in a telephone interview with HVP staff to discuss your install in greater detail.
The winner’s personal data will be passed to Snickers solely for the purposes of the prize being administered. Prize subject to availability.
