Keeping Kids Cosy, recently launched by the National Energy Foundation, is a project designed to help families with young children who are struggling with fuel poverty.
Funded by Scottish Power Energy People’s Trust and supported by the local authorities in the area, it will work across the whole of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
“Faced with stagnating income, rising fuel bills and various household priorities, looking after their children’s health and wellbeing is a daily struggle for many parents. We’re proud that we’ve got this opportunity to expand our current services to families who are deeply in need,” said Matt Neal, project officer at the National Energy Foundation.
