From the start of this month, Baxi has applied price reductions of up to 14% on its gas boilers thanks to being able to pass on savings on supply chain costs and manufacturing efficiencies across several of its boiler and hot water cylinder lines.
Inflation in April was reported as being down to 2.3%, which partly reflects reduced pricing in global manufacturing supply chains. Baxi says it is acutely aware of price sensitivity in the current market and is happy to pass on savings in its supply chain to customers, as well as giving them the cost benefit of improved manufacturing processes resulting in efficiencies on the factory floor.
Trade prices will be reduced by over 10% on the entry level Baxi 424 and 430 combi 2, rising steadily to a 14% reduction on the Baxi 636 combi 2. Baxi says its new RRPs give installers highly competitive pricing on two established product ranges within its residential boiler range.
Baxi has also made similar price reductions on a number of Direct and Indirect hot water cylinders. The cylinders feature built-in expansion, making them more attractive for properties with limited available space, and retain Baxi’s standard two year warranty, with 15 years on the inner stainless-steel tank.
“We’re pleased to be able to pass on savings to customers, and give installers even more competitive pricing on some of our highly regarded gas boiler and water cylinder products”, said Distribution Sales Director Rob Pearse.
