Anne Timpany, Director at On Tap Plumbers and HVP columnist, has made the shortlist for a national award celebrating female entrepreneurship.

She has been chosen as a finalist in the Athena Award category, which will crown the most inspirational woman running a business that has been trading for 6-9 years.

Anne and her husband Raff founded On Tap Plumbers in 2010 and in 2014 took the decision to focus entirely on commercial plumbing. Since then the company has experience substantial growth, it is now invited to tender for major developments and has 50 plumbers and seven apprentices across seven construction sites in London.

Selected by a judging panel of 18 of the country’s most successful businesswomen including Chrissie Rucker MBE, Cath Kidston MBE, Rosaleen Blair CBE and Poonam Gupta OBE, this year’s finalists were chosen for the drive, ambition and tenacity they demonstrate in the face of adversity.
