DIMPLEX heat pumps on the SAP Appendix Q list

It's now easier for those involved in specifying renewable heating to get extra benefit in SAP from the high-performance qualities of DIMPLEX heat pumps, with the launch of a new Appendix Q scheme.

The new scheme allows the true performance capability of specific heat pump models to be incorporated into carbon emission calculations for new dwellings, using an online database developed by the BRE which includes manufacturers' product-specific performance details.

These can be used in SAP instead of the standard default CoP performance values, allowing specifiers to benefit in their calculations from the Dimplex heat pumps' high levels of seasonal efficiency,
